Accessibility statement
What we aim for, what we have built, and where this site still falls short.
The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across buunch.com. This statement describes what we have done and what we know is missing; it is not a claim of full conformance, and no third party has certified this site.
What we have done
- Pages are built from semantic HTML: one first-level heading per page, headings that never skip a level, and landmarks around the header, main content and footer.
- Every photograph carries alternative text that describes what it shows, rather than repeating the caption beside it.
- Keyboard focus is never removed: every interactive element shows a visible outline when it is focused.
- Forms are operable by keyboard alone, and every input has a visible label that is associated with it in the markup.
Known limitations
Checkout is run by Shopify at store.buunch.com, outside this site. We do not control the markup or behavior of that page, so a barrier encountered while paying cannot be fixed here; we raise it with Shopify instead. If you reach one, tell us and we will take it up with them.
