There is one question the atelier answers more often than any other, and it is not about peonies: what does the smallest arrangement actually buy you?

The answer is Les Fleurs du Jour, the composition that changes every morning. It is the entry to the house, and it is deliberately the least fixed thing we make.

The composition

Les Fleurs du Jour is not a recipe. It is a selection: whatever the market offers that morning at its best, chosen by Caroline and composed by hand in the atelier. The palette moves with the season, so a bouquet in November shares nothing with the same bouquet in May except the standard it is held to.

What stays constant is the volume and the hand. The arrangement arrives composed — not a bundle of stems for you to place — in the vessel or the wrapping the day calls for.

What the price includes

• The composition itself, designed and made the day it is delivered.
• Hand delivery across New York City and the five boroughs.
• The season, in the literal sense: the blooms are the ones at their best that week, not the ones a photograph promised three months ago.

What it does not

Same-day orders close at 9:00 AM. After that, the next available day is offered at checkout rather than promised and missed.

Who it is for

The arrangement was made for the person who wants the atelier’s hand without commissioning a piece. It suits a desk, a hallway, a dinner that was not planned a month ago, and the gift that has to arrive today. It is also the honest way to try the house before ordering one of the named compositions.
